Arlene Stevens - Volunteer - TLE Mi'kmaw Resource Centre
I am a Mi’kmaq Educator from the Eskasoni First Nation and I have lived in Eskasoni . I am married to Spencer Stevens and the mother of Scott, Angie and Alexis and am a grandmother to 10 children. I worked as a Mi'kmaw teacher for many years and as Vice Principal for eight years before retiring in 2011. I also have done translation work for different organizations and am presently working on translating Bible stories. In my spare time I volunteer at TLE Mi'kmaw Resource Centre to help out in anyway I can.
